University chancellor brief Introduction
chancellor of Kabul University of Medical Sciences "Abu Ali Ibn Sina" is part of the second unit of the Ministry of Higher Education, the administrative post is the first grade and it is cadre. Currently, this university comprises five vice-presidencies (Academic, Student Affairs, Financial and Administrative, Health Institutions Affairs, Research and Scientific Journal), six faculties (Medicine, Dentistry, Public Health, Nursing, Complementary Health Sciences, and Midwifery), Medical Education Development Center (EDC), a Department of Medical Engineering Technology, six teaching hospitals, an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Center, a lecture recording studio, laboratories, computer labs, classrooms equipped with technological facilities, a library, a Quality Assurance Unit, a scientific research journal (Afghan Medical Journal), an Online Afghan Medical Journal, and approximately 24 various scientific, administrative, and health committees at the university level. Furthermore, this university and its hospitals are connected through surveillance cameras for security purposes. Additionally, it has two decision-making councils at the university level: The Academic Council and the Leadership Council. The Academic Council serves as the highest decision-making authority within the university. Moreover, Kabul University of Medical Sciences "Abu Ali ibn Sina" collaborates academically with nine regional and global universities and 25 national academic institutions.
This university offers various academic programs including MD (Medicine), DMD (Dentistry), Bachelor's degrees in Public Health, Nursing, Midwifery, Medical Technology, Medical Engineering Technology, Physiotherapy, Master's programs in Public Health and Nutrition, and specialty training programs.

▎Brief Introduction of the Administration Head Office of Kabul University of Medical Sciences
The Administration Head Office is a fundamental and essential component within the framework of the university and operates directly under the authority of the chancellor of Kabul University of Medical Sciences. Its primary responsibilities include reflecting directives, decisions, and resolutions from higher authorities to relevant departments for awareness and execution while organizing the affairs of the university's chancellor.
▎Objectives:
Monitoring the implementation of directives from higher authorities, organizing meetings and sessions, recording resolutions and decisions from meetings, Arranging and organizing office documents (both confidential and general) for archiving, receiving directives from chancellor’s office in correspondence, proposals, and other documents, distributing orders from the President's office to relevant departments.

▎Main Responsibilities of the Administration Head Office:
1. Monitoring the implementation of directives from the Ministry, the Chancellery of Kabul University of Medical Sciences, and governmental cabinet decisions while referring them to relevant departments for awareness and subsequent actions.
2. Receiving orders and directives from the chancellor in correspondence, proposals, inquiries, and requests from visitors and directing them to relevant departments for awareness and subsequent actions.
3. Organizing meetings for the chancellor of Kabul University of Medical Sciences.
4. Recording resolutions and decisions from meetings held by the chancellor and sending them to relevant departments for awareness and subsequent actions.
5. Arranging meetings between the chancellor of Kabul University of Medical Sciences and officials from the Ministry of Higher Education and other relevant authorities to obtain directives and address operational challenges faced by the university.
6. Organizing and presenting resolutions from leadership meetings held by the Ministry of Higher Education, government cabinet sessions, and those involving the chancellor of Kabul University of Medical Sciences.
7. Distributing orders from His Excellency Amir al-Mu'minin and the Prime Minister for execution to relevant departments.
8. Arranging and organizing administrative documents.
9. Arranging and organizing archival documents for the administration.
