A scientific webinar was held in Kabul University of Medical Sciences to raise awareness of Congo disease

Kabul University of Medical Sciences held a scientific webinar on the 11 September of this year under the title of "Congo disease" with the aim of raising awareness for the prevention and necessary measures of this disease, using Zoom software for the students of this university.

In this webinar, Professor Attaullah Faizi, the vice president of student affairs, called it important to hold seminars like this, which are held to prevent various diseases, and asked the health and related institutions to work to prevent various diseases and prevent them.

In the following, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Wali Atai, the head of the Research and Scientific Journal Vice-Chancellor, while welcoming, talked about the summary of the situation of this disease in Afghanistan and the existing problems and provided detailed information.

Also, Seyyed Hossein Mousavi, head of research at Ghalib University, spoke about the role of health institutions in controlling this disease and said that such seminars can be useful in raising awareness.

In the aforementioned webinar, Dr. Inayatullah Hamdard from the Nanjing, Agriculture University, Nanjing, China on the topic of Seroprevalnce and Epizotological status of CCHF, Dr. Ahmad Hossein Safa from Tehran University of Medical Sciences from Iran on the topic of the lastest laboratory techniques for diagnosis and confirmation of CCHF, Dr. Shahid Farhad from Pakistan on the topic of Epidemiology of CCHF in Pakistan and Controlling Strategies, Dr. Khawaja Mir Islam Saeed, Technical advisor of the Afghanistan field Epidemiology program of the Ministry of Public Health on the topic of Epidemiology of CCHF in Afghanistan, which is connected through Zoom software. They had presented their conferences.
