A 10-day training program for healthcare staff at Aliabad Teaching Hospital has been launched by doctors and specialists from Canada
The program aims to enhance the capacity of healthcare workers in the fields of anesthesiology, surgery, internal medicine, nursing, and intensive care (ICU). It will continue for a duration of 10 days in collaboration with Canadian medical professionals.
During this training, healthcare staff will receive education on the management of colorectal cancer surgery, minimally invasive esophageal surgery, minimally invasive gastrectomy with D2 dissection, anesthesia for esophagectomy, postoperative intensive care for surgical patients, and nursing care for patients following esophagostomy. This training will be delivered by seven Canadian doctors and specialists.
In addition, last week, these specialists conducted a symposium on gastrointestinal cancers for 500 healthcare workers of the hospitals as part of this initiative.
